Movies, Math, and More Monday, November 2

Hello everybody, and welcome to Movies, Math, and More Monday!

The big election is tomorrow, and although we know this makes it an incredibly important day, we also know many people are tired of hearing about it.

For that reason, YEP wants to give you a little break by talking about something that has nothing to do with politics, one of Kenzie’s favorite games, Animal Crossing!

Bonus math questions. Get an extra point each for answering these questions:

• In the election for class president, 129 students voted. 66 of them voted for Carissa, and the rest voted for Bobby. What percent of students voted for Bobby?

• There has been a presidential election once every 4 years, starting in 1788. Counting the 2020 election, how many presidential elections have there been?

To send us your answers, you can fill out the message form on the Contact page above or send an email to any YEP advisor. However we get your answers, we’ll make sure you get your points.

Thanks, and have a great day,

The YEP Team
Andy, Jennifer, Kathy, and Kenzie
